In olden days, in the sun baked dry Gulf Arab nations, the wind towers were scientific salvation. Located here (the 2 tallest structures) - these towers have 4 direction divisions within them which allow them to capture cooler air at a height and send it down into the dwellings below.
The air being driven below cooled as it touched the tiled interior of the windtower. One of the landmark odes to these structures is the Dana Novotel Hotel in Bahrain and the large Burj Dubai City in UAE. Technical Aspects : This is not very photo realistic at all since I used many light sources and a rather colourful palette.  |
