Last week in Bahrain , Deviantart was one of the Sites which was hit by a blanket ban which focused on Racist or Porn related sites. It was an order issued to all local ISPs by the 'Ministry of Culture'.
It didn't make sense why DA was included and the DA community in Bahrain along with Deviants worldwide came together to sign a petition to the Ministry.
2 Days back DA was back online!

It was one of those positive moments we rarely see - A United Community!
I'd like to thank all the fellow Deviants, the local Press here and the Ministry to get this amazing place reconnected!

My friend =ShatteredSoul209 lives in Bahrain, and I was so frustrated to hear that she wasn't allowed to go on dev anymore.
Now, I'm glad to know that she's back again, and I'd like thank everyone who signed the petition!

dA was blocked at my school by OpenDNS because it is a image sharing website and has nudity!
